About
The Čunarski Jazz Festival runs across two spaces on the corner of Čunarska and Veslarska in Zemun: Restoran Galerija and Hill River Studio. Music starts at 17:00, with six acts on the bill.
Fish in Oil were founded in Priština in 1993 by guitarist Bratislav Radovanović and later moved to Belgrade. They play instrumental music that runs jazz, rock and free improvisation together with a strong film-score influence; their records include "Poluostrvo" (2012), "3 ključa" and "Sve će biti u najboljem redu" (2018). Tzootzoonga Ensemble is a Belgrade quartet of double bass, accordion, percussion and voice, playing jazz standards in bossa nova and swing arrangements.
Miško Plavi is Milivoje Petrović, a multi-instrumentalist who played in VIA Talas, D' Boys, Piloti and Ekatarina Velika before going out on his own. He is based in Japan and has released five studio albums, among them "East Kissing West" (2004) and "Hiljadu osmeha" (2019). Belgrade Funk Combo were started in 2016 by guitarist Vladimir Žutić and play funk with R&B and soul in it; their self-titled debut came out in 2018.
Audioactive Decay play free jazz and appeared at this August's Mačkin Spektrum Week at Drugstore. Aleksandar Sopček completes the bill.
