Rock n' Rakija Festival

Rock n' Rakija is a two-day festival at Dorćol Platz that pairs Serbian craft rakija with rock concerts. This is the fourth edition, and the first to run in early November rather than December.

More than 20 distilleries, most of them small family operations, show their work, with over 60 rakijas to taste. A rakija matinee runs from 16:00 to 19:00, and an educational tasting called "Upoznaj rakiju" runs from 19:00 to 21:00, covering seven rakijas with distillery owners and technologists. Entry to the rakija-and-concert part of the programme opens at 20:00.

Jorgovani and 357 play on 6 November. Jorgovani formed in Belgrade in 2012 and combine raw punk rock with kafana and bohemian motifs and lyrics about everyday and working-class life; their albums are "Pušteni s'lanca" (2016), "Ja častim" (2021) and "Sin radničke klase" (2026). 357 are a Belgrade crossover band who marked thirty years together with a Dom omladine show last year; they mix hard rock, punk, rap and ska with domestic folk, are fronted by Nikola Hadži-Nikolić, and released "Pianissimo" (1996) and "Domaći zadatak" (1999).

Familija and Deca Loših Muzičara play on 7 November. Familija came together in Belgrade in late 1993 out of members of U škripcu and Vampiri, mixing rock, ska, pop and ethno on "Narodno pozorište" (1994) and "Seljačka buna" (1997), with the songs "Baltazar", "Mala mala", "Brate Murate" and "Paranoja"; they reunited two years ago. Deca Loših Muzičara formed in Belgrade in 1988 and play rock with punk, funk and horns; "Dobardan!" (1992) and "Prolećni dan" (1995) carried the hit "Vlade Divac", and they are touring "Ustani Slaj Stoune, Srbija te zove" (2025), their first album in twenty years.

Tickets cost 1,700 RSD for 6 November and 1,900 RSD for 7 November until 1 October, after which they rise to 1,900 and 2,200 RSD. The "Upoznaj rakiju" tasting is 1,200 RSD per day. Tickets are sold through Gigstix and at the ROCKFIRE Vinyl Record shop.
