About
Duo Cease Fire — featuring saxophonist John Dikeman and drummer Aleksandar Škorić — delivers a powerful fusion of free jazz and avant-garde improvisation. Previously known as Mofaya!, the project sends a strong message under its new name, Cease Fire.
Musically, the core remains as intense as ever. Do not expect pre-planned arrangements or gentle background music; this duo is renowned for explosive interaction, sonic force, and high-voltage musical intensity. The commanding tone of Dikeman’s saxophone merges with the dynamic, driving percussion of Aleksandar Škorić, creating an immersive and impactful live experience.
This is improvisation in its purest, most energetic, and socially engaged form. High-energy improvisation — with a mission!
