About
Legendary British band Dub Pistols are finally returning to Belgrade! After more than 16 years, their energetic blend of dub, electronic music, ska, and punk will once again shake the Belgrade audience — this time at the new Zappa Barka. Mark Thursday, October 15 in your calendars. Tickets are available for 3100 RSD via Gigstix, while physical tickets will soon be available at Katakombe Bar (Knez Miletina 45). Tickets on the day of the show will cost 3500 RSD. Founded by charismatic frontman Barry Ashworth together with Jason O’Brien, Dub Pistols became a symbol of uncompromising parties and genre-defying sound since the mid-1990s. Starting out as a London DJ collective, they quickly made their mark on the global scene thanks to their explosive live performances and eclectic style combining dub, hip-hop, jungle, ska, breakbeat, and punk energy. Throughout their career, the band has collaborated with artists such as Terry Hall (The Specials), Horace Andy (Massive Attack), Busta Rhymes, and Gregory Isaacs. Their remixes and original tracks have become festival staples around the world, from Glastonbury to Boomtown. They have also gained a large following through iconic video games featuring their music, including Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2, NBA Live 08, and FIFA 99. The audience knows them best for hits such as “Cyclone”, “Problem Is”, “Back to Daylight”, “Alive”, “Peaches”, “Mucky Weekend” and “Boom” — tracks that still shake dance floors around the world. Alongside studio albums such as Six Million Ways to Live, Speakers and Tweeters, Rum & Coke, and Addict, Dub Pistols are known for their relentless touring schedule and reputation as one of the best live acts on the British scene. Their concerts are not just musical events, but explosions of positive energy and collective celebration — something the Belgrade audience will experience again after a long 16-year wait.
