Palestinian singer-songwriter and multidisciplinary artist Israa Shalaby performs at 20/44. Her work centres on her vocals and lyrics, exploring self-love, inner peace and ritual.
Shalaby is a member of The Hallways, an experimental Arabic drone music collective. She recently collaborated with Carmen Rizzo, a twice Grammy-nominated producer and musician; their debut single "Open thy Heart" combines Sufi influences with avant-garde organic instrumentation.
Doors open at 8pm. Entry costs 1,000 RSD.
