The cult domestic rock'n'roll band Električni Orgazam will perform on Friday, December 4th, at the Student Cultural Center of Novi Sad, where they will present songs from their latest album "U magli sjaj" to the Novi Sad audience for the first time. Actress Anica Dobra will join them as a special guest, with whom the band co-authored the song "Gde je Barbara sad", created as a tribute to the timeless cinematic achievement "How Rock'n'Roll Was Destroyed".
This year also marks 40 years since the release of the album "Distorzija", their fifth studio release, which left a mark on the domestic rock scene of the eighties. Raw guitar riffs, punk energy, and diverse influences of rockabilly, classic, and psychedelic rock shaped the band's musical identity and marked a turning point in their career. Released by Jugoton, this release brought some of their most famous songs, including "Debela devojka", "Vudu bluz", and "Lui Lui", and paved the way for the band's major regional success.
Following an eight-year recording hiatus, Električni Orgazam released the album "U magli sjaj", featuring 14 new songs recorded by the lineup consisting of Srđan Gojković Gile, Branislav Petrović Banana, Zoran Radomirović Švaba, and Blagoje Nedeljković Pače.
The upcoming performance will be an opportunity for the Novi Sad audience to hear the band's new material live for the first time, as well as the songs that define their decades-long career.
