Mike Cooper, Inturist, Vukašin Đelić, Feliks Mirenskiy

Fields presents "String Theory" ("Teorija struna"), an evening of guitar adventures.

The main guest is 84-year-old Mike Cooper, a British experimental musician who moved from folk-blues, sharing bills with John Lee Hooker, to free improvisation, electronics and his own blend of blues and tropical exotica. He plays lap steel (Hawaiian) guitar, layered with electronic loops, birdsong and pedal effects.

Inturist is Zhenya Gorbunov, co-founder of Glintshake, who works with guitar loops, tape manipulation and offbeat pop.

Vukašin Đelić, also known as WoO, is a Belgrade guitarist whose playing moves between jazz, electronics, psychedelia and dub.

Feliks Mirenskiy presents a programme based on his album "Do You Remember?", using the guitar as a controller for synthetic rhythms, vocal fragments and acid glitch.
