HATEBREED returns to Belgrade: hardcore icons in mid-November at Zappa Barka! One of the most influential bands on the modern hardcore scene, the American band Hatebreed, is returning to Belgrade. As part of their European tour “East Coast Assault on Europe,” the band will perform on Thursday, November 12, 2026 at Zappa Barka. After a 12-year wait, the local audience can expect one of the hardest hardcore shows of the year, and this will also be their only performance in the ex-Yugoslav region on this tour. Early bird tickets are sold out! The presale price is 4,100 dinars, while on the day of the concert, if any remain, tickets will cost 4,500 dinars. Physical tickets will soon be available at Katakombe Bar and Zappa Bar. Hatebreed was formed in 1994 in New Haven, Connecticut, USA, and is today considered one of the key bands that merged hardcore punk and metal into a recognizable sound that has inspired generations of artists. Their debut album “Satisfaction Is the Death of Desire” became one of the most influential hardcore albums of the 1990s and the best-selling debut in the history of Victory Records. Their breakthrough to the global scene came with the 2002 album “Perseverance,” featuring songs like “I Will Be Heard” and “Destroy Everything,” which became essential genre anthems. Over their career, they have released eight studio albums and sold more than 1.5 million records in North America alone. The band is led by charismatic vocalist Jamey Jasta, one of the most recognizable figures in the global hardcore scene. Hatebreed has shared stages over the years with bands such as Slayer, Slipknot, Lamb of God, Megadeth, Napalm Death, and Parkway Drive, and has performed at the world’s biggest festivals, including Ozzfest, Download, Hellfest, and Wacken Open Air. Their blend of aggression, groove, and motivational lyrics has earned them a loyal global fanbase and a Grammy nomination for Best Metal Performance. Their latest studio album, “Weight of the False Self,” was released in 2020 and once again confirmed that the band has lost none of its power after more than three decades of activity. Hatebreed shows are known for their explosive atmosphere, massive singalong moments, and relentless energy, in the best tradition of hardcore with a strong dose of metal.
