Paul Pignon, Laptop Ensemble NS, Luka Beatović, Goran Lončarević

An evening of improvised and electronic music at Chillton Bar, Katanićeva 7.

Paul Pignon plays a free improvisation set on bass clarinet. Born in London in 1939, he was a founding member of the Radio Belgrade Electronic Music Studio in 1968 and stayed on its staff until 1983, where he worked on the Synthi 100 synthesiser and wrote its manual; he has been based in Stockholm since. Goran Lončarević and Luka Beatović provide minimalist and ambient support.

Laptop Ensemble Novi Sad move from meditation into drone. The group was formed in 2024 at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad to treat laptops as instruments, working with live electronics, electroacoustic improvisation, algorithmic processes, drone and intuitive music.
