About
Myshkin, the project of guitarist and composer Radoslav Zdravković, presents the album "Rediscovering" at Dim. Doors open at 20:00.
Zdravković has played guitar since 2001 and has studied jazz guitar since 2008 with Berklee graduate Predrag Simović. Years of work with music software shaped his tone — a guitar that often doesn't sound like a guitar. "Rediscovering" (2025) was made under the mentorship of Trey Gunn (ex-King Crimson) with support from SOKOJ, and draws on the pioneers of electronic music, progressive rock, jazz fusion and music for film and games. Guests on the album include Markus Reuter, Oz Noy, Diego Tejeida, Andy Wood, Muris Varajić, Doris Karamatić and Gorica Šutić.
Live, Myshkin plays as a duo with cellist Aleksandra Bengin: guitar and cello linked through MIDI-synced loop pedals build layered compositions in real time. Bengin is a regular guest player with the RTS Symphony Orchestra and a member of the duos Dragorad and Bengin & Predolac and the quartet Kameleon; her debut album "Let" (Multimedia Music) uses loops and delay to turn one cello into a whole cello orchestra.
Also guesting is Matija Anđelković, a composer trained in analogue synthesis and electronic music, including a course on the EMS Synthi 100. His work ranges from orchestral and chamber music to fully electronic pieces and scores for film, theatre and video games; he won the Josip Slavenski and Neda Depolo awards in 2023, and his piece "Mala Lisa" was selected for the International Rostrum of Composers.
Singer-songwriter June Ondalun premieres her new song "Creatures of the Night", written with keyboardist Boris Novaković, who joins her on stage.
