Children of the Enlightenment" is the new concert program by Dee Kourtsman, who for many years has been weaving the intonations of Russian rock, Celtic music, and singer-songwriter traditions into an honest conversation about time and humanity. These are songs about a childhood that doesn't end with age, about grown-up children forced to learn how to live all over again in a shattered world, about the quiet courage of everyday life, and about streetlights and lighthouses. Above all, they are about people who continue to recognize each other and search for the way forward, even when the map no longer matches the terrain.

Dee Kourtsman is a wandering minstrel from St. Petersburg. He is the author of most of The Dartz's songs—from "Cutty Sark" and "Samhain Fires" to "Born in Ireland," "When the Sea Calls You," "Cherepovets," and "Pain and Voronezh." Alongside new songs, the concert will feature the tracks that listeners have been returning for over many years: Irish, Scottish, and Breton melodies, and old stories that still make you want to sing along in chorus.
