About
Belgrade, get ready for a MEGA bass attack!
David Ellefson is coming to the Serbian capital on December 18 for a special concert at Klub FEST!
You can expect an unforgettable evening with the legendary bassist and co-founder of Megadeth, also known for his work with bands such as The Lucid, Ellefson-Soto, Dieth, Metal Allegiance, Kings of Thrash, and, more recently, Metal Church.
Next year marks the 35th anniversary of the release of one of Megadeth's most successful albums, Countdown to Extinction. To mark the occasion, David Ellefson is embarking on a European tour in 2026 with a band featuring his longtime collaborator and guitarist Andy Martongelli. The full live lineup will perform the album in its entirety.
A legendary metal album
Released on July 14, 1992, Countdown to Extinction is Megadeth's fifth studio album and the second to feature the band's famous classic lineup: Dave Mustaine, Marty Friedman, David Ellefson and Nick Menza. All four members contributed to the songwriting.
The album debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, marking the band's biggest commercial success until the release of Megadeth's latest studio album. It went double platinum and remains the best-selling release in the band's history. The album was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance, while the title track won a Genesis Award from the Humane Society for raising awareness of animal rights.
Don't miss the chance to hear “Skin o' My Teeth,” “Symphony of Destruction,” “Architecture of Aggression,” “Foreclosure of a Dream,” “Sweating Bullets,” “This Was My Life” and many other classics live — performed by Megadeth's original bassist and co-songwriter!
