About
The band NIJE ZA NJU was formed by veterans who played together in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
We reunited at the end of 2017 and started rehearsing, writing new songs, as well as bringing some of our old songs back to life.
Our music falls somewhere within the pop/rock genre, strongly influenced by the distinctive sound of the 1980s, with a prominent guitar-riff-driven approach. Most of our songs have an emotional character.
NIJE ZA NJU has not performed extensively. The band has largely been a way of completing unfinished things from an earlier period while also creating new musical ideas.
We have mostly performed at Klub Fest in Zemun, Jugošped, Parkić in Bregalnička, as well as at BARF13 and the BUNT Festival. In June 2025, we played our second solo concert at Fest.
Alongside our old songs, we have written a large number of new ones, and our current repertoire has grown to around 25 original songs.
