Dutch sound engineer, comic book artist, and designer of unique musical instruments Yuri Landman will perform on Thursday, November 5, at Cafe Gallery Frida Kahlo in Novi Sad.
Landman is world-renowned for developing microtonal string instruments and sound installations based on the physics of overtone frequencies (the third-bridge technique). Throughout his career, he has built custom instruments for key figures in the alternative and noise scenes, including Lee Ranaldo (Sonic Youth), Liars, Half Japanese (Jad Fair), Liam Finn, and Blood Red Shoes.
The event at Frida Kahlo features an experimental performance and sonic exploration using his custom-made instruments.
The event runs from 20:00 to 23:00.
