About
Plattenbau is an international quartet formed in 2011, inspired by the brutalist architecture of post-Soviet East Berlin. Their breakthrough onto the “big stage” came in 2021, when they signed to Dedstrange, the label run by Oliver Ackermann of A Place to Bury Strangers. They subsequently released their second and third albums, Shape/Shifting in 2022 and Net Prophet in 2023. They are an experienced post-punk band that combines noise rock and krautrock in a distinctive enough way to stand out among the many contemporary acts working in similar genres. Last year, on Halloween, they released their fourth album, Cursed. This time, it was a joint release by Dedstrange and France’s Swish Swash. They spent the end of 2025 and much of this year touring in support of the album, and will now bring the tour to Serbia. The Belgrade show will take place at KC Grad on November 23 at 9 PM.
