Reunion Europe Tour 2027
Sixteen Horsepower perform at Nova Zappa Barka in Belgrade on 27 April 2027, from 20:00 to 23:00. Organized by APOLVX.
The band's roots-based alternative music combines Appalachian folk, bluegrass, gospel and country with a modern rock approach. Banjo, Chemnitzer concertina, hurdy-gurdy, lap steel and upright bass are part of this sound, associated with gothic country, gothic Americana and the Denver alternative scene of the 1990s.
David Eugene Edwards, Jean Yves Tola and Pascal Humbert form the core trio, joined over the years by changing collaborators. Their work ranges from intense sermon-like songs and haunted ballads to reinterpretations of traditional folk material, bringing an American roots perspective together with a gothic sensibility. In 2026 they announced a European reunion of the core trio, returning to perform their music together for the first time since 22 November 2005.
