Vladimir Cetkar is a composer, guitarist, singer, arranger and producer, born in Ohrid and trained at Berklee College of Music. His music puts soul, funk, disco and jazz together, reworking the spirit of Chic and Earth, Wind & Fire in a contemporary setting.
He has played the Blue Note Jazz Festival, Java Jazz Festival, Sziget and Jarasum Jazz Festival. Time Out New York described him as a Macedonian soul man who blends disco and fusion into lush pop.
He comes to Bluz i Pivo with a seven-piece band — a full rhythm section and horns.
