About
TIMO TOLKKI — EUROPEAN TOUR OCTOBER 2026
THE RETURN OF POWER METAL LEGEND — TIMO TOLKKI
Legendary guitarist.
Innovative songwriter.
The creative force behind some of the most significant songs in European power metal.
In October 2026, Timo Tolkki returns to the European stage with a series of special performances celebrating the music that made him one of the genre’s most influential figures.
An explosive journey through the classic Stratovarius era, performed by a powerful new band.
With Stratovarius, he helped establish the melodic and symphonic approach that became a defining sound of European power metal. The band achieved worldwide success, earned multiple gold records in Finland, as well as a Finnish Grammy.
The October 2026 tour brings Timo Tolkki back to the stage with a full band and a set dedicated to the classic Stratovarius repertoire — the songs, melodies and guitar work that shaped the sound of European power metal.
Audiences can expect powerful performances of iconic compositions from the band’s golden era, including “Hunting High and Low,” “Paradise,” “Eagleheart,” “Visions,” “Father Time,” “Forever,” “Black Diamond” and more.
Rather than simply looking back at the past, the concert brings these timeless songs to life with a new generation of musicians alongside the man who wrote and created so much of this legendary repertoire.
