About
From Ankara comes Hayvanlar Alemi, an avant-garde psychedelic instrumental trio active for more than 27 years, with releases on Sublime Frequencies, Glitterbeat and Unrock and over 100 shows in 20 countries. Their sound mixes psychedelia, garage and progressive rock, surf, doom, dub, free jazz and post-punk with influences from music traditions around the world. On this tour they play as a trio: founders Ozum Itez (guitar) and Isik Sarihan (drums), with Macedonian bassist Deni Omeragić.
Support comes from Samalas, the project of Petar Vuksanović (Vuk Sanovsky), working at the crossroads of psychedelic rock, improvisation and experimental studio work.
