Mortal kombat

Fest Team, in cooperation with the Rockstrikcija festival, presents the first solo concert by Belgrade-based band Mortal Kombat in Podgorica, taking place on October 9, 2026, at the basketball court in Njegošev Park.

Following their appearance at the Rockstrikcija festival in 2024, Mortal Kombat are returning to Podgorica, this time for a full-length solo concert featuring a set of more than two hours.

With over a decade and a half on the scene, Mortal Kombat combine a hard rock sound with direct, satirical lyrics, exploring themes of contemporary society and everyday life in their own distinctive way. Their early songs quickly gained an impressive number of views on YouTube, and since then, they have continued to build their path toward the top of the regional alternative scene, step by step and on their own terms. Over the course of their seventeen-year career, they have released five studio albums and played numerous concerts across the region.

Joining them in Podgorica as the support act will be Kamenolom, a four-piece heavy metal band from Belgrade, active since 2019. The band proudly embraces the sound of good old-fashioned, honest heavy metal, while their songs explore a variety of themes, often viewed through the lens of Slavic mythology.
