About
Conway The Machine plays Belgrade for the first time, on the tour marking ten years of his mixtape "Reject 2". Born Demond Price in Buffalo in 1982, he co-founded Griselda Records with his brother Westside Gunn and, together with Benny The Butcher and producer Daringer, pushed a raw, dark boom-bap sound back to the front of American rap. His records include "From King to a God" (2020), the Shady Records debut "God Don't Make Mistakes" (2022) and last year's "You Can't Kill God With Bullets", which deals with mental health, loss and survival rather than with trends. He has worked with Westside Gunn, Benny The Butcher, The Alchemist, Method Man, Raekwon and Freddie Gibbs.
Daringer, the producer behind most of the Griselda sound, plays with him, and the Queens rapper Meyhem Lauren is the special guest.
The rest of the bill is regional: Nihil and Spejs Noksi play live, Phillie P and Goce (North Macedonia) DJ, and a Vinilijada record fair runs alongside the show.
The night runs from 22:00 to 04:00. Tickets cost 2,000 RSD.
