About
The thirteenth international saxophone festival in Serbia, Belgrade SAXperience, takes place this autumn from 17 September to 8 December. It includes concerts by leading musicians, masterclasses for young saxophonists led by guest artists, and presentations of the saxophone's many possibilities in classical, jazz and contemporary music.
The 13th Belgrade SAXperience International Saxophone Festival includes five concerts at the SASA Gallery, the Cultural Centre of Belgrade and UK Parobrod, featuring international and Serbian saxophonists including Baptiste Herbin (France), Alain Crepin (Belgium), GrandessoCera (Italy), Duo Vibrance (Serbia) and Irene Fernandez Mena (Spain).
On 8 October at 20:00, Italian classical saxophonist Damiano Grandesso performs at UK Parobrod. Alongside his active classical music career, he presents GrandessoCera, a project combining electronic music and saxophone on the classical concert stage. The programme includes new works by composer and music producer Andrea Cera. The concert is supported by the Italian Ministry of Culture, MiBAC, and SIAE through the "Per Chi Crea" initiative.
