Tommy Emmanuel brings the Living in the Light Tour to Sava Centar.
The Australian guitarist plays solo, fingerstyle and percussively, across acoustic pop, jazz, classical and roots music. He started touring at six in a family band, has won a Grammy for Best Instrumental Arrangement and played the closing ceremony of the Sydney Olympics. The CGP after his name stands for Certified Guitar Player, an honorary title Chet Atkins gave to only five musicians.
The tour follows his album "Living in the Light", recorded and mixed in four days with producer Vance Powell, with most of it captured in one or two takes.
